How AAVEN works

For every profession. Start with what you want to do.

Need help from AAVEN?

Email [email protected]. Describe the problem and the section you were using. Never send passwords or access keys.

Your portfolio on AAVEN

Open My profile or Company profile → Edit portfolio. Add a cover, showreel and projects; the first project image is its poster. Drafts are visible only to you. Drag projects to reorder, or use the arrows. Contact visibility is set per field; profile visibility stays in Settings. Share your personal /p/ address or company /studio/ address. Company team cards appear only after both sides confirm the affiliation.

One sign-in · personal and business profiles

Open the profile menu → Your spaces to add or switch to a Personal profile or Business workspace. Enter your own name and profession, complete Career Brain, then choose visibility in Settings. You keep one email, one company owner plan and one conversation per person. Company access still depends on accepted permissions.

Page links and applying on studio sites

  1. Each main section has its own address. Bookmark or share Jobs, Market Jobs, People, Companies and Services. Refresh and Back/Forward keep the section; private links ask you to sign in and return you there.
  2. Before an external application, copy AAVEN and mention it if the studio form asks how you heard about the job. Choose Continue to open the studio site. Don’t show this again is saved to your account across devices. Direct AAVEN applications keep their existing form.

New jobs digest and managed studios

  1. Settings → Notifications → New jobs digest: Daily, Weekly (Monday), or Off. Weekly is the default. Activated workers with verified email receive one relevant summary at 08:00 Europe/Sofia; no new jobs means no email.
  2. Each email shows up to ten live jobs, with links back to AAVEN. Unsubscribe from the email or change the frequency in Settings. Member messages and their notification settings stay separate.
  3. Companies marked Managed by AAVEN are external organizations maintained by the AAVEN team. View jobs opens their public studio page. Only visible organizations within an active free period appear in discovery. Apply on studio site requires sign-in and active trial, annual, early-member or gift access.

Explore AAVEN without an account

  1. Home shows current public jobs, professionals, companies and services. Use People or Companies to browse and filter public profiles. Profiles are public by default after activation. You can hide yours or limit it to employers in Settings.
  2. Market Jobs lets guests search by profession and country without a profile. Guest searches have limits; personal AI comparison requires sign-in.
  3. Create an account when you want to apply to an AAVEN job, connect, publish a service or start a project. Projects, Team and Messages show what you can do before sign-in. AAVEN Services in the header publishes and manages your listings; browse public services from Home or /services. Guests can read full job descriptions. Applying requires an active AAVEN profile; Create profile or Log in returns you to the same job. External sites open in a new tab after authorization.

Find a job

  1. Use the two coloured buttons in the header: green AAVEN Jobs for jobs posted here; cyan Market Jobs for jobs worldwide. Both remain visible on mobile.
  2. Market Jobs starts with empty fields. Enter a profession and country, or choose Use your profile to fill them from Career Brain.
  3. In AAVEN Jobs, open a job and apply. Track the application in Applications. Project work offers also appear in AAVEN Jobs; review and accept them in My Work.

Build your professional profile

  1. After sign-in, choose your industry first, complete the required profile fields and click Activate profile. Until activation you are a Guest; the first activation starts the 30-day trial. Photo, CV and portfolio are optional.
  2. Open My profile from MY CAREER. Career Brain describes your profession, experience and skills; My profile shows your photo, links and availability.
  3. Settings and Help are at the bottom of the sidebar, or in More on mobile. Settings controls discovery, community visibility and account preferences.
  4. Your contact email stays private. CV upload works without AI; confirm that it is your CV before using it in applications. AI comparison is optional. Update availability when your plans change.

Contacts, discovery and messages

  1. Home starts on All and shows visible activated people and companies across industries. Choose My industry to narrow the list without restricting contacts. Use Edit interests on Home or your profile editor to set your industry; the profession filter is optional. Change your own availability by clicking its status on Home or My Profile. Projects and Timesheets are inside My Work for workers. Click a name or image for the profile. Connect sends a request; respond in Messages → Requests. Companies accepting future interest publish future positions on their profile. Home company rows offer Follow / Following. Click the company name to open its profile, send a contact request or open your existing conversation. Both worker and company Home show People and Companies. On mobile, See all opens the full filtered list. Following is private, survives sign-in on another device and can be cancelled with Unfollow. Use the Following filter to find saved companies. Following does not create a contact or chat.
  2. Messages is the shared inbox: All, Contacts (Candidates in business spaces), Team, Requests and Archived. Handle incoming connection requests in Requests.
  3. Click a conversation row to open it. Its header has View profile and Meetings. Send files, reply, react, edit or delete your own messages. Applications use the same private conversation with that person.

Team chats and meetings

  1. Open Messages → Team. Choose Join chat for a pending team chat invitation; new members see messages sent after joining.
  2. Project managers open Projects → Team chat to create or open the project conversation. Personal conversations remain separate in the same inbox.
  3. Send files, emoji and replies; mute, close or leave a chat when needed. Use Meetings in the conversation header. Video is available only when activated by the AAVEN administrator.

Invitations, plan and account settings

  1. Invite is at the top right of Network. Use it to share AAVEN; a founder gift is tied to its intended email and can be redeemed once.
  2. Plan & usage shows trial access, confirmed country, annual price and usage limits. Annual checkout is available only after administrator activation.
  3. Settings controls privacy, preferences, data export and account deletion. The profile menu contains Your spaces, Contact support, Feedback, Privacy Policy and Log out.

Receive a project work offer

  1. An employer may add you to a team plan and ask about dates. Answer in Network → Invitations → Project requests. Confirming availability does not accept a job.
  2. A reviewed work offer appears in AAVEN Jobs / My Work. Check the dates, terms and permissions, then accept or decline.
  3. After acceptance, My Work shows your project, assigned tasks and permitted project tools.

Accept company permissions

  1. A company can invite you to help manage hiring or projects using your exact email. Sign in with that confirmed email and review the company invitation banner.
  2. Accept only the permissions you need. The company assigns project managers to specific projects; a job title alone does not grant access.
  3. After acceptance, use Company workspace to open the tools granted to you. Keep your own account and password; no extra staff subscription is required.

Market Jobs — sources and coverage

  1. Results combine the connected sources available for the selected country. A source requires configured access; country availability does not guarantee matching jobs.
  2. AAVEN merges duplicate listings and selects up to 80 jobs across sources before ranking them. Each job shows its source; detailed source counts and search timings are available only to admins.
  3. If a source fails, available results remain visible with a partial-search notice. Try a more specific city when a location is ambiguous. Apply opens the source website.

Project tools and My Work

  1. Managers: Projects → New project. Save its brief, dates and positions. Add or change the small image beside the project name; (?) opens Project guide.
  2. Show filters All projects, My projects or Archived. Team overview shows people across projects you are permitted to access.
  3. Add people offers From Contacts, From Talent or Email invitation. Adding someone is planning; it does not give project access or automatically send an email.
  4. Team plan → Ask about dates. After an available response, use Review & invite to review terms and send the work offer. The person accepts in AAVEN Jobs / My Work.
  5. Tasks → New task assigns work only to accepted participants. Track To do, In progress, In review and Done; a manager or another reviewer approves the result.
  6. Schedule creates shifts with a time zone and prevents overlaps. My Work → Timesheets records completed work and breaks for submission and review; approval does not pay anyone.
  7. Files, Review & Media holds file references, versions, reviews and video comments. Drive files stay in Drive; local playback does not upload or share the local file.
  8. Private notes belongs to the selected project. Private panels in the business sidebar belongs to the company. Each keeps its own access rules.

AAVEN Services — offer your skills or team

  1. Open the amber AAVEN Services button next to AAVEN Jobs and Market Jobs. Publish and manage your own service listings here.
  2. Choose Offer a service. An activated professional profile can publish as an individual or a team; a company is not required. Add a title, description, industry, team size, location, work mode and availability. Portfolio and price are optional.
  3. The listing has a public page, including for people without an AAVEN account. Its publisher represents the team and receives inquiries. This does not automatically add people to your Team workspace or share private profile fields.
  4. Share the public listing with clients. A person opening its link can choose Send inquiry, sign in and write to you. The conversation opens in Messages.
  5. After publishing, choose Share on LinkedIn in My listings. A separate window opens with the service link; you choose the text, audience and confirm posting on LinkedIn. Copy link is also available. Paused, hidden and deleted services have no public page.
  6. Use My listings to edit, pause, republish or delete an offer. Existing conversations remain after deletion. Report inappropriate listings from Details; use the existing block and report controls in Network for unwanted contacts.
  7. Service inquiries do not hire a team or charge a payment. Agree scope, fees and delivery directly. Post vacancies in AAVEN Jobs; organize your own work in Work → Projects and Team.
